The FTAA is the work of elite internationalist revolutionaries who reject the idea that they should be limited by the checks and balances in the American constitutional system. All revolutionary grabs for power must be conducted through deception. As the British statesman Edmund Burke wisely stated: "The people never give up their liberties but under some deception."

In order to propagate and protect their deceptions, the internationalists labored decades ago to achieve strategic dominance over the mass communications industry. Recent technological developments such as the internet are a chink in that dominance as are the activities of private organizations with influence in local markets.
